Quantum Computing and AI in Finance: Insights from Two Leading Industry Panels
As quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI) accelerate into mainstream adoption, financial institutions are being pushed to confront a rapidly changing technological reality. In May 2025, Quantum Chain participated in two major events that underscored this shift and why the industry must respond faster than it is.

On 21 May, our CEO Maxwell Denega delivered the Closing Keynote at The Asian Banker’s Financial Technology Innovation Conference 2025, titled “How Quantum AI Will Change the Rules of Finance.” Speaking alongside finance and tech leaders including Rosie Rios, David Gee, Neil Tan, Gordian Gaeta, and Steve Monaghan, the session focused on how quantum computing in finance is no longer a distant concern. Combined with rapid advances in AI, it’s creating a paradigm shift in how we approach security, compliance, and risk.
A major theme: Post-quantum threats are emerging faster than expected. Most financial infrastructure today was not designed with quantum resilience in mind. As quantum capabilities grow, the ability to crack classical encryption is becoming a real risk, one that cannot be solved retroactively.

On 29 May, our CEO and CTO: Maxwell Denega and Ricardo A. Toledo Mañani took part in a panel at the Digital Currency Conference titled “AI and Quantum.” Alongside experts like Rahul Bhargava, Amnon Samid, and Yarnvith Raksri, the panel explored how the convergence of AI and quantum is creating a new generation of financial infrastructure challenges and opportunities.
Key insight: It’s not just about defending against quantum threats. It’s about designing blockchain and digital systems that are inherently AI-aligned and quantum-secure.
At Quantum Chain, we’re building exactly that:
A post-quantum blockchain architecture
Infrastructure embedded with AI-driven compliance mechanisms that evolve with regulation
Real-time solutions that go beyond patching and instead, future-proof the system
The urgency is clear: Financial institutions can’t afford to wait until the risk becomes reality. Quantum and AI are redefining the rules, the only question is whether you’re prepared.
